Dr. med. Eva Corvest, PhD

Visiting Professor and Module Leader since May 3rd 2021

“EDU provides a new and sofar unique approach to the education of medical students in Europe. The theoretical lectures throughout the entire course take place exclusively in the virtual classroom – in the medical world, this is really pushing the boundaries of what we thought was possible! It is fantastic to be a part of this new and highly contemporary approach to medical education, and prove that online teaching can absolutely live up to – if not exceed – the high teaching standards leading medical schools provide. The concept of small groups brings me much closer to the students than lectures in a big auditorium at “classical” universities ever did. I very much enjoy the interaction with students and encourage their active participation in my online classes. Often, students are less shy to interact when in the comfort of their home, within a smaller cohort. Large auditoriums can be daunting, especially for young students!”
