“I have always believed that the acquisition of knowledge is improved through the provision of a level playing field where both the ‘teacher’ and ‘student’ are challenged. Frustrated by the didactic model of teaching, I was looking for an organisation that is rethinking medical education when I came across EDU. I believe that this model of training is key to improving access to quality health care across the globe: by bringing together faculty from across the world; by reducing the cost of medical education; by providing an engaging platform for students from regions of the world lacking adequate medical education infrastructure.”
