On Thursday 7th November three representatives from EDU joined the ARD-Hauptstadttreff 2019. Hosted by Das Erste, Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb) and ARD Hauptstadtstudio, EDU was there to speak to decision-makers from politics, media, culture and business and present our vision for the future of medical education in Germany and beyond.
EDU founders, Prof. Dr. med. Andreas Hoeft and Dr. Jürgen Laartz, with EDU Medical’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. med. Patrick Boldt, shared EDU’s passion for a 21st Century education model and the desire to equip healthcare workers wherever they are with skills and knowledge of new medical approaches, digital health technologies and more.
Almost one year after our first degree programme launched, Professor Hoeft explained to those in attendance the structure and pillars of EDU’s innovative human medicine degree programmes. Speaking of EDU Medical’s commitment to educating great physicians and improving patient care, Professor Hoeft said, “We enable talented people to fulfil their dream of becoming doctors.”
We are honoured to have had this chance to speak to key decision-makers in Germany and look forward to more opportunities like this in the future.
