This is supported by the latest digital learning technologies. To ramp-up our growth, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager (m/w/d). As a new role in the business, you will have the opportunity to help shape our approach to quality assurance.
Expectations and Tasks
EDU medical is now recruiting for the online theoretical courses additional academic faculty with broad medical knowledge at all academic levels.
Teaching will take place in virtual classrooms. The teaching obligations can be fulfilled from any location, also such as home office-based. Some physical meetings during the year might be required. EDU medical is looking for academic staff in various specialties, in particular surgery, internal and general medicine.
The academic staff is expected to teach medicine in a broad range, not necessarily in one specialty but also in neighboring specialties. Depending on qualification, various degrees, such as associate and full professors, but also adjunct professors are possible.
The positions can be part-time or full time. The candidates should have a superb command of the English language, a strong academic background, and ample experience in medical education.

In detail
- 30 X 8 Week Ahead sessions
- 6 oral student presentations: 90-150 minute session, depending on group size, followed by reviewing the grading done by the tutor that take place once a week
- 1 written student presentation: Review of the grading done by the tutor
- 30 minute faculty meetings every 2-3 weeks
- 30 minute mandatory faculty meeting prior to start date
- Onboarding session with a staff member
- Expert sessions: Information added in contract that explains these sessions are fee-for-service on top of the base Module Leader pay, there is no mandatory amount of expert sessions
Skills and Competencies
- Master degree or alike
- Conferral of a doctorate/graduation (e.g. Ph.D.)
- Currently or previously holding a professor role in a recognized institution
- Masters Degree in Medical Education (MME) is to the best advantage
- For professors in the medical field: medical specialist/consultant in her/ his field
- At least five publications in internationally renowned journals with peer review and specific impact factor (IF), of which three need to be as first or last author.
- At least 10 lectures within the last three years
- Excellence in guiding and counseling students, residents
- A good reputation as a clinician
- Leadership of safety and/or quality improvement initiatives
- Interest in harnessing the latest technology and digital approaches to Medicine
- Experience in the development or direction of courses or special teaching.
