As Europe’s first fully digital provider of tertiary education in Medicine, we are proud to offer our innovative programme in Medicine in Germany in partnership with selected hospitals, including Helios Kliniken, Marienhaus-Gruppe and others. These partnerships deliver on EDU’s core commitment to partnering with teaching hospitals around the world, which fulfil high standards of quality and provide expert teaching staff for practical training during clinical rotations. HELIOS KLINIKUM ERFURT GMBH

Nordhäuser Str. 74, 99089 Erfurt, Germany

Helios Klinikum Erfurt features 1,300 beds and is the largest hospital in the region. With more than 30 specialist areas, ranging from general surgery to the care centre for burnt children in Thuringia, the hospital offers all-round care for people from Erfurt and the surrounding areas. Furthermore, the Helios Klinikum Erfurt is a maximum care hospital, also functioning as the academic teaching hospital of the University Hospital Jena.

HELIOS KLINIKUM HILDESHEIM GMBH

Senator-Braun-Allee 33, 31135 Hildesheim, Germany

Helios Klinikum Hildesheim has a capacity of 579 beds, and is the largest Helios hospital in the region of Lower Saxony. Each year, around 26,000 inpatients and 80,000 outpatients are cared for here. Experts in various certified centreers such as breast, colon, skin tumour and hand trauma centers work together in the hospital on an interdisciplinary basis. In addition, Helios Klinikum Hildesheim is the academic teaching hospital of Hannover University of Applied Sciences.

MARIENHAUS CLINIC ST. ELISABETH NEUWIED

Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 59, 56564 Neuwied, Germany

The Marienhaus Klinikum is one of the largest hospitals in northern Rhineland-Palatinate with about 700 in-patient and day-care places in the three locations Bendorf, Neuwied and Waldbreitbach. Patients are treated in nine main departments, two inpatient departments, four-day clinics and a centre for outpatient rehabilitation and prevention according to the latest medical insights. The hospital is also an academic teaching hospital of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and a teaching hospital of the University of Maastricht.

MARIENHAUS CLINIC EIFEL BITBURG

Marienhaus Klinikum Eifel was founded by the Franciscan order of sisters in Waldbreitbach over 100 years ago.
Based on the latest findings in modern medicine, over 20,000 inpatients get to be treated here every year.

HELIOS KLINIKUM GOTHA GMBH

With more than 600 active employees, the Helios Clinic in Gotha provides healthcare for approximately 20,000 inpatients and 30,000 outpatients annually. Experts from more than 20 departments work closely together under the same roof to ensure care according to the highest hygiene standards.

ST. NIKOLAUS-STIFTHOSPITAL GMBH

Ernestus-Platz 1, 56626 Andernach, Germany

St. Nikolaus-Stiftshospital has a history of over 700 years. The staff here provides care for inpatients and outpatients in ten specialised departments. Modern medicine is combined here with the tradition of a Christian hospital.

HELIOS DR. HORST SCHMIDT KLINIKEN WIESBADEN

By having more than 30 centres and institutes at Dr. Horst Schmidt Clinic in Wiesbaden, over 2000 medical professionals are prepared to provide support by combining modern medical technology with competence and motivation. Every year around 44.000 inpatients get to be treated here.

MARIENHAUS KLINIKUM IM KREIS AHRWEILER

The Marienhaus Klinikum im Kreis Ahrweiler is a hospital for acute cases and provides standard and regular care with a capacity of 463 inpatient beds. Patients are treated in numerous departments as well as certified centres, in which several specialists work together on an interdisciplinary basis. 

Venusberg-Campus 1, 53127 Bonn, Germany

With 1,232 beds and 32 specialist clinics, the University Hospital Bonn is an important location for patient care, teaching and research. The maximum care hospital works with the latest methods in the diagnosis and treatment of almost all disease patterns. For EDU students, the University Hospital Bonn is only available for the first clinical rotation within the Bachelor of Medicine.
