Maastricht University and its School of Health Professions Education (SHE) recently published their annual review report on EDU’s Bachelor of Medicine programme, confirming high quality and continuous improvement.
This report is part of the supervision of EDU’s Medical Programme by Maastricht University. The supervision itself is part of the criteria EDU’s Medical Programme has to fulfil under the European Professional Qualification Directive (PQD).
Maastricht University is internationally recognized for the quality of Its own medical programme and its advanced role in developing medical didactics and programme design.
The review report summarises the findings of Maastricht University’s deep involvement in reviewing curriculum development, teaching, quality assurance and continuous improvement of EDU’s Bachelor of Medicine programme along the standards issued by the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME).
Overall, the report confirms that EDU’s Bachelor of Medicine programme is fully compliant to the PQD as outlined in §24 of European Directive 2005/36/EC.
